MY APPROACH

I am passionate about all things related to food and the impact that food has on one’s life. To me, food is a vehicle that brings people together. I strive to improve your relationship with food so that it can be shared and enjoyed.

Through our work together you will gain food freedom; whether that means having your favorite dessert without guilt, enjoying a meal with friends, or cooking with your mom and snacking along the way.

I practice a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to nutrition, specializing in both disordered eating and eating disorders. I bring compassion and humor into our sessions. We will discuss the multitude of complex thoughts, feelings, and behaviors surrounding what we eat. There is no standard meal plan, equation, or recipe that solves anyone’s relationship with food.

In thinking about the nutrition and psychology of food, I embrace the new wave of science and GLP-1's. GLP-1's can be a tool in the toolbox in our relationship to food; I want to manage and individually support you with these medications.

I acknowledge and put an emphasis on all the different functions that food plays into our lives whether for necessity, nourishment, emotional needs, or enjoyment and finding a balance that works for everyone is a priority. I focus on the importance of an individual approach, as everyone’s goals and needs are different.
